your not able to do so in the present version and i don't think so in V8 at present also.

you can /could set all users within a non-ladder group and then MOD the forum by taking out all the places that the stars are showm, PM pages, this page, profile page.

i think thats about it.

You could just have one group and make it the starting group. All members would then be in that group. As long as there were no other ladder groups then everyone (except Admins & Mods) would stay in the same group.
 
If you create a 1x1 pixel transparent image, you could use that as the custom stars image. Also, just name the group Registered Member or something like that.
 
Would that work?

Hey, thanks! That idea worked perfectly.

Also, what is version 8? It still says the latest version is 7.9, released on June 15 of last year.
