If you delete a member all their posts are set to the built in Guest account, so they will all have Guest written next to them.

Deleted posts are set to the Guest account (ID 2)

If this is not happening then either you have a corrupted file or database, or you have edited the database by hand and altered the Guest account.

I would recommend not deleting accounts to keep the forum posts more acurate and just suspend a users account instead.

I found the problem

its because i imported the memberlist from an old forum using some modified  snitz scripts from here

when you do that you have to start with a clear table to preseve the id numbers

so my guest id is about 3000

thanks borg
