Hi guys,
Installing my second copy of web wiz and I have CSS style that is my menu.

My problem is that as far I'm aware I must have the DOCTYPE at the top of the page before anything.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
" http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd - http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd ">

I can't put it in the header as there items that preceed the header inclusion. At the moment the only place I can put it is in the actual file .i.e default.asp. seen here
http://www.absoluteguides.co.uk/forum/default.asp - http://www.absoluteguides.co.uk/forum/default.asp
Which shows my menu okay.

but here where the DOCTYPE has not been added to the file its a mess
http://www.absoluteguides.co.uk/forum/active_topics.asp - http://www.absoluteguides.co.uk/forum/active_topics.asp

I hope someone an either help me include the doctype in the file in a very easy fashion o even maybe point me in the right direction oo alter the CSS.

Incedently the pages, any pages are fine in Netscape and Firefox and NOT in IE and opera.

Regards

Ian Hill
