I donn't know how, but the RTE inserts automaticly sometimes the tag and it gives me problems when I create dinamically XML files with sentences stored in a db trough RTE textarea.

I try to replace to but when I recover the textarea the comes back.

Is there any way to solve this?

IE has a bad habbit of re-writting code when you enable page editing in the browser and often changes code to and allot with captial letters.

Firefox, however, does do a much better job with the code, so you might want to try using that instead.

cannot believe it!! Another good reason to avoid IE.
