I'm using WWF Lite v7.9a on domaindlx and i get strange dates. They have very funny characters. When i go in the admin menu and change the dates using the "Forum Date And Time Settings" they're allright again. Unfortunately they seem to be messed up again the next day. I don't know which locale i need to use for Domaindlx but i'm not sure that the locale is the solution to my problem. Any suggestions?

Furthermore, my bandwidth seems to be exceeded very quickly even though i've succesfully stored all the forum images on another server with unlimited bandwidth. Is there any other solution to the bandwidth problem?

have you got a URL  for us to check.

regards to bandwidth, the forum is coded as tight and performace as possible. the only thing i can think is that your forum is very busy what sort of statistics have you got,

no. of posts etc, no of users online most the time etc.

it's at http://ccc.domaindlx.com/macbryce/

The bandwidth doesn't bother me that much though. I've requested unlimited bandwidth by now. I was just wondering.

I was just hoping you could get me a reason for the strange dates. Yesterday i had to reset them again. And today they seem to be correct, but in my settings the months are numbered (januari = 01, etc.). This morning the site featured proper Englisch names for the months. It seems to be very random.

The problem with using free web hosts is that you share resources, including the application pool, with all other users.

This means that not only do you have to run a version of web wiz forums that doesn't have all the features and doesn't have the performance of the main version, but also others using web wiz forums on the same server can affect your installation.

Your best solution, if you want more than a handful of posts, is look for a decent paid web host and use the full MS SQL Server version.

http://www.webwiz.net" rel="nofollow - www.webwiz.net offer hosting with ms SQL Server for as little as $6.99 a month, just click the link at the top of this page.

I'm having the same problem on 1asphost. Sometime I had Turkish months, sometime English months...
