when i go to click edit it comes up to add a new post, and wheni just try and post a new message and click reply it comes up saying i cannot double post? what does that mean? why all of a sudden has something gone wrong and what do i look at in the DB to correct it

Sounds more like corrupted files, try reuploading the files again.
