---  Does anybody know how to track the access to the fields in the database?

e.g.: if I have a list of books in my db, I want to know how many times users perform a search for each record

TX!!

I'd suggest creating a table to hold the results of each search (the PKs of FKs only) or add a field to whatever result people click on and increment it.
