Hi. In my forum there are 3 moderators. I have selecet moderators from sending mails to everyone. But I have got this error

jmail.SMTPMail error '8000ffff'

The message was undeliverable. All servers failed to receive the message

/forum/admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 227

What should I do? I cannot send any e-mails to members or moderators or admin. Nobody :(

this can be for a number of reasons.

please check your email settings within the admin area.

make sure you have a mail server that is active.

does this happen with all emails?

also make sure you enter a correct email address.

also make sure you have jmail installed. also check if you have to have email authentication to send emails.

I find this message usually occurs with JMail if for some reason the SMTP server can not be connected to.

Check your email settings in the admin area.

I have checked the mail settings. And everything seems good.

Jmail is selected and mail adres is true. My e-mail address is true.

What should I do else?

Sometimes I cannot send e-mails to yahoo hotmail etc. I think sending e-mails via forum's error is same with this? Can be? And how can I correct this?

it maybe that the IP your sending from is blacklisted from yahoo, hotmail etc.

check to see if your IP address is blacklisted www.spamcop.com

spamcop is a widely used by servers etc,

also check with your host that emails are able to be sent to those domains

Hi!
I had the same problem.
Try to comment the following code:
.ServerAddress = strOutgoingMailServer
on functions_send_mail.asp
That worked for me perfectly!
