Well, I have to admit that I really like this spell thingy because my spelling stincks.

Now for a stupid question: Do any of you know how I can set F7 as a shortcut to fire ieSpell while in IE? I just can't remember... phooey.

yes you can.

but is F7 already set to a button you might not be able to do so

but really you need to do is have a onkeydown javascript command that sees if its the correct Key Code

and if it is .. set it to fire the spell checker.. but also it does require you to be focused on the text editor so you may need to add a command to focus on that before fireing the spell checker
