i'm having trouble configuring the forum to work.

I am getting

HTTP 500 - Internal server errors

which files need to be in the Admin directory when setting up the forum?

Turn off friendly HTTP error messages in IE so that you can see what the error is so that you can try to fix it.

Also make sure if moving the database that you have edited both common.asp files.

When unzipping the forum you need to keep all the files in there original locations, having over 200 files in the forum it would be a bit much to list every file location in a post as it would take around an hour to do.

I think if you remove the extra Forum directory you would be fine. 

no. i did this becaues i have multiple forums running at 1 serverand at 1 website and it all workd from a directory forum. the main forum is just called forum, but the others hav very different names.

btw i was just posting the directorylist for classchill, because he didn't knew that the directorystructure had to be intact for the forum to work.
