I've just installed RTE on my site, and I can save files fine (as a new file name). However, when I try and save over an existing file (I've enabled it in RTE_setup.asp) I get the following error;

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a003a'

File already exists

/pthmy/admin/RTE_popup_save_file.asp, line 179

Does anyone know what could be causing this please? I've enabled my server to allow read / write / delete access, as I can save the file as a new file name.

It sounds like a server permisisons problem, try setting modify permissions on the directory.
