What the heck happened to one of AOL's sites! http://beta.aol.com/ Did they hire a kid to make it? It looks boring and ugly. Really boring and ugly. No way neat what a section of a corporate website should look like. The need new designers. |

Agreed. And according to the Neowin news about AIM beta it manages to crash just by minimising the window. If you ask me they just put up a beta site to show people they are still making stuff. Most of the stuff on there is alpha |

Looks like they are shooting for validation and accessibility over bells and whistles. There is a price for each.
edit: it doesn't validate but really really close on the XHTML and except for the iframe, it almost validates CSS.
