I have that code:

Select title, COUNT(title) AS nbcritique from books WHERE title = '" & sqlEncode(title) & "' GROUP BY title

I have another table named "books2" with slighty the same infos so I want to join them to have a whole count of "title" from both table.

I never made JOIN before, if its JOIN that I need.

thanks

i think join is used for combining two tables (or bits of two tables) in a single recordset. If you want to physically combine the tables in the db, i think you have to do that in the table. Although i may be wrong....
