Am installing this on a virtual [local] site, running XP Pro connecting to a SQLSERVER2000 database. Have set up the IIS(5.1) service and modified the connection string. Have opened a webbrowser and pointed to the msSql_server_setup page, but the userid and password fields are unavailable. When the enter button is pushed I would expect to get an error message for blank name but nothing happens.

Has anyone else had this problem, or is it in my installation?

I can't see why the user name and password fields would not be available as they are basic HTML form fields and no-one else has ever reported such a problem.

Try a fresh copy of the file, in case it is corrupted, if that fails try a different web browser.
