Try turning off friendly HTTP error messages in IE then post what the error message is if it is not covered already in the common errors documentation that comes with the forum software.

 This is what shows:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

/forum/login_user.asp, line 171

this is that line:
rsCommon.Fields("User_code") = strUserCode

and now what?

Please note this error is discussed in the forum documentation.

thisi s most like because the folder the database is in and maybe the database but most likely the folder does not have read write and modify permssions

one thing to check for is that you have cookies and session veriables enabled within the browser.

also it may help to add your website to the cookie white list and therefore allow cookies and session veriables.

Everything is ok with the cookies, I can't log in from diferent PC-s, from diferent browsers... In the Opera teh imiges of the securitu code is not loaded, but everywhere there is a general problem of incorect security code????

I go to the other forums, I registered on this one with same PC.... with no problems...
I even think of remove the securitu code but I tried but I don't know how....

check that your host is running the latest drivers etc, i believe that maybe one of the issues.

do you have a URL?

it is a server side problem deffently by the sounds of it.
i think you can turn the security codes off from wither the common.asp page, or the register.asp page.. i also think you can enable/disable the login one also by editing the login_user.asp that holds veriable.
