When creating a user name with an apostrophe in it (or renaming one to where it has an apostrophe), an extra apostrophe is added. Why is this?

this happens because of the forum filters.

one of the fiolters in the function formatSQLInput changes ' to ''

its to stop hackers, and SQL injections
