It probably looks at them but how much weight it assigns to them is thought to be pretty small. Probably a good idea to have them though - who knows what the future will bring.
I only use metatag keywords that are found in the content on that page or in the content of referrer pages. I think I might be making a mistake to use words from the referrer pages that aren't in the page containing the metatags but I haven't done it enough to make a judgement. -------------

I think it may use the meta description but I think that is the only one. I would assume the index,follow, etc has been replaced by robots.txt And keywords no longer count |
