when you say webwiz servers do you mean the server the webwiz.net site is on.. or Web Wiz servers? as they are 2 different ones.

if its regards to WebWiz your best bet is to ask them direct via the main site, or if able to ring him.

No phpbb will not work as WW hosting uses asp on windows servers rather than php on Linux servers

It does work on windows servers, you just have to install php, but from the looks of it WWF does not have php enabled as default

Yeah -- the host has to have installed php. Most will support php files though due to its popularity and flexibility.

Also, sometimes there are specific permission requirements for many php functions like in the phpbb where the host would have to allow the permissions for full functionality.

Also check the PHPBB documentation for requirements, as it may use some UNIX functions that require a *NIX server. There is a common compression component that's used in a lot of PHP apps, I think it's ziplib, but not sure. That's pretty much your last checkpoint.

Sorry forgot to mention that the reason why it wouldnt work was because it wasnt installed. Embarrassed

The CPU load function is UNIX only which is a shame because it would be great to use it on Windows Ouch
