Hi there,
You may remember that I posted a while ago. My MB was the Access one with a 220mb database !!!!LOL

After all of your help, we managed to chop it down to a reasonable size (deleting PM's / post / unused members etc) As soon as we get time, we will be going over to MS SQL to solve (hopefully) all of our problems.

In the meantime, we have 1 massive thread on the board which we really don't want to delete, but I guess it is still causing us problems size wise.

If I create a new forum on the MB and move this thread into there, will it create a new Database file for that forum, which won't be accessed when people are using the 'normal' MB, therefore making the 'normal' MB Database file much smaller ?

Thanks, as ever, for all of your help Big smile

Lynford.
