Hello,

I'm doing On the job training and I'm using this forum but they want to use Oracle Server instead of SQL Server or Access as this forum was designed for.  Yeah Yeah I know I'm using Oracle, so no comments on that.   Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else was/is trying to do the same thing I am.

So far I decided to create the database using Oracle8i with PL/SQL and having a few problems.  I noticed when the forum creates the DB it creates multiple Indexes with the same name on different tables.  With Oracle, it won't let me do this.  Any suggestions?  I know I should rename them, but I don't want to waste time and rename everything else.  Looking for a time saver!

Thanks!
Diggs

You need to rename them. I don't think there is another easy way around it. Also you will have to change a few queries as Oracle (PL/SQL) is a bit different...
