Hello....i'm using Access version of this beautiful forum....
 
I would to know how much records could contain first of collapse.....and if is possibile how much contemporaniously connection could support...

access can support about 20 concurrent connections but is likely to corrupt.

with the ammount of the database, there are some that hold lotd im not sure on the actual figure but if you are thinking of having a quite a big forum, i would recommend going to SQL server first off, as it will be easier in the long run.

but cannot you tell me how much records could contain at max first of collapse ?
 
I think i have a big traffic, and i'm going to convert this forum to mysql, but i would know how much time i have first of Access collapse ...

there is not an exact figure but i've seen sites running on access with 40,000 posts etc. and quite a few members.

the forum wont run on MySQL in its current staus.

only on Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server.

60,000+ posts and an Access DB of 150 MB. No problems, so far. 6 hours backup, of course.

And no, we can not switch to MSSQL.
