Is there a way of increasing the number of posts required to move on to the next level without demoting members? I thought once a member had reached a certain level they could not be demoted (even if they had not reached the NEW group limit). I tried increasing the level today and a couple of members lost some stars :)

I hope i'm making sense... maybe there's a common sense way to do it , i'm missing.

Sorry there isn't. Each time a user posts a message it checks to see what group tey should be in and moves them to that group.
