am currently trying to make a Webmail app in asp using asp pop. but its not that helpful at determening if its html or plain text emails - which messes things up for me when i attempt to display it

does anyone know how you work out if the emails html or plain text with ASPpop - or suggest a better asp pop component (i know i dont have Jmail with pop abilitys - so thats out)

wouldnt an HTML email have HTML tags, where a plain text wouldn't? So would it be possible to do an InStr for a couple common HTML tags such as <b>,<font>,<p>,<div>; and that would tell if it was HTML?

yeah but i dont know how to use that

apparently you just do:

Mailer.GetHeaderField("header name")

and it returns the value, its for custom headers that AspPOP3 doesnt support

anyone know wot the header would be called?
