Hi all.
I've set up my forum but im a litle confused as to how i get my forum stucture similar to this one.
How do i create separate forum topics such as 'Sub Forum' and 'Topics'?
How do i create the sub topics as in 'Topics' - 'Important Topics' and 'Forum Topics'?
Please help!

hi, welcome to Web Wiz Guide. in the current version Sub forums are not available, but will be in V8. to have pinned/important, you set the topic type (as admin) as a announcement topic. and other are forum topics, and you can pinn topics to the top of that section. |

Thanks dj air I'm still stuck on this. I can't see any option for creating a 'pinned/important' post or how to set the topic as admin or as an announcement topic.
All i can see are the options in the 'Generic Forum Permissions'.
I have attached a screen grab to illustrate how i want my 'Important Announcement'
Please help!

hi, to add an announcement/pinned topic, you have to be logged in as an administrator/ or forum moderator. and when you click add thread (new thread), there is a drop down menu that says normal topic, sticky topic. then under that within the list it has announcement (this forum only) announcement (all forums) the last two are what you are pointing at. V8 suggestions within the screenshot is a pinned/sticky topic |
