I have a paid account on Brinkster (pro account) and setup the folders like described in the installation docs.  However, I found some errors with respect to how "pro" accounts have pathing setup for databases, etc.  The only problem I'm having is with the security code images on the registration form.  They don't show up.  How do I get them to show up?

this seems to be a limitation of brinkster.

they dont allow ado stream i think it must be, not sure on what section it actually is.

if you do a search on the forum, you may find out more info on it.

i think you may have to disable them.

I am also a pro account user in brinkster. no problem with it at all.

upload database file to database floder. find the absolute root path in website settings. change database path to absolute root path/database/wwForum.mdb in common.asp.

upload web wiz forum in a floder. that is all done.

if you want use upload image function. you need talk ot them by the live chat to make uploads floder rewriterable.

I tried that.  Everything else about the site works fine besides that I have to disable uploads and the security images don't display. Looking at the code, it would appear to be related to what dj air says (ADODB.Stream). I'll call their support tomorrow and see what they say about it.

I found the problem. I uploaded the "security_images" folder under the "admin" folder.  When I moved it up one level (under "forum"), the images all display correctly now.
