please turn off http friendly error messages which will reveal the real reason,

also do you have email features etc on, make sure they are correct if so, and the server supports the selected component.

also try re uploading the files as it sounds they maybe corrupt, aslso failing that download a fresh copy from this website

No, not your users just yourself.

If you had read the forum rules before posting you would have found that in order to findout what an error message is you need to turn off friendly HTTP error message in IE.

Once you do this, instead of a generic 500 error page, you will get a detailed error message in IE.

By posting what the error is will then help determine what your problem is with your forum.

Also if you are using a free hosting account, make sure you are running the 'Lite' version of web wiz forums as the full version will not run on free hosting accounts.

You don't really give any details on what the error is so I am completely in the dark as to what the problem is so I will only be able to guess and give you common answers to such questions.

It could be that you have a corrupted file, try reuploading

If you are using a 3rd party language file to change it to another language, it may not be correct. Try using the original language files and see if that solves the problem.

You may have integrated the forum into your own site, and some of your own javascript is coursing a conflict.

there should be no issue within a standard install, have you tried different browsers.

also check if any other javascript you have added to the pages isn't interferring.

I am far from being an expert on Javascript, but having examined the source of the page causing your problems, I noticed that there is a script tag defined with no source.

<SCRIPT language=JavaScript src="" type=text/javascript></SCRIPT>

This empty tag is exactly where the RTE_message_form_js.asp file should be included. Anything action to do with the RTE would reference the code in this file. Figure out what you did to the code that caused the include to be dropped, and your problem will be sorted.

Oh, and on a slightly different note, Axiadam, how about showing a little respect to the people trying to help you? The details they you provided regarding the problem are sketchy at best, and yet you find it acceptable to diss the one's who have to figure out what it is that you're on about.

To each their own ...
