Is the replace function case sensitive?
will this work?
replace("the dOg","dog","cat")
or will it only work if it is exact?

I think it's not case sensitive, and theres an extra optional parameter that can be added on to change this. Best way to see is to test it! |

It is case sensitive. Try using either regular expressions or perhaps something like replace(Lcase("the dOg"), "dog", "cat") -------------

| i worked it out... one of the optional parameters determines either binary compare of textual compare. One of them makes it case sensitive the other doesn't... |
