Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had tried having two sets of source code sharing one database? This is just so we can effectivly have two skins for two different style of the same forum... This possible?

Or would be be better just making two skin files and modding the ASP to pick which one to use depending on the URL its on?

What u think?

Thanks

- Carl S

Yes, I have done that myself in the past using v6 - 1 live + 1 test version on an Access backend.

Simply created duplicate of "forum" called "forum2" complete with all files and subfolders at the same folder level as the original "forum". Ensure that the 2 common.asp files in both sets correctly point to the same DB.

Hope this helps

I've done this too with testing. It worked without a hitch.
