I am consideringsetting up a Web Wiz Forum on my WIN2K server, and i have a question about SMTP.

Is the SMTP service that is part of IIS 5.0 services enough to count as an SMTP server to be used with Web Wiz Forum, or is something else required ?

yes the SMTP server comes with W2k

you need to look on the disk or on add ons section and you will see the SMTP server option.

note, CDONTS (comes with W2K) is no longer supported by MS, and some ISP's wont accept it , as you can't authinticate CDONTS.

try downloading CDONTS or one of the other Components around the internet/ listed in the admin area.
