Hello,

Ive installed WebWis on a Brinkster Pro Account and it works great.
I'm having problems trying to add the "file uploads and attachments to posts" option.

I have contacted Brinkster Support to enable write Permission to the [Webwizdir]/uploads directory. and enabled the upload function in the admin menu (and in the forums configuration).
Iv'e also made the right adjustments in the "image and file upload configuration" page.

But after all of this, I dont see any "attach file" or "attach image" in the RTE editor when tring to post new topics or reply.

What more should I do?

Thank you for your help.

I did some checking and found that:
blnImageUpload
and
blnAttachments

are always FALSE...

I can change them manually, but still, the uplouad window will not work.

Please help.
Thank You.

OK,

after setting

blnImageUpload=TRUE

the upload process begins OK and the files are being uploaded but I get an error messege and the process stops:

Server.MapPath() error 'ASP 0174 : 80004005'

Invalid Path Character(s)

/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 146

An invalid '/' or '\' was found in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.

the files are uploaded but not renamed.
Thanks

The solution was to cancel the process of making new directory for every user.

Plese add this subject in the Common problems in the right support area of this site...

This is for all the International - Non-English webwiz users.

Keep up the good work! Clap
