I have a site that has been using the Forum for quite a while and whilst I have been busy with other projects I have not made an upgrade for quite a while... My mistake...

Is there any documentation and/or downloads available to help me upgrade from 7.0 beta to the latest version?

I am running a copy of the Forum locally and am having some issues! I note that ther have been DB changes etc.

I am using MS Access 2000 DB with XP Pro Locally, the same DB but WIN2003 on my remote server which I have full control over.

Thanks in advance.

The beta versions where intended for testing only and not for a live web site as they contained bugs and where unfinshed.

This means the only way to upgrade is to go through the changed log and update your database, then replace all the ASP files.

Thanks boRg.

I have just successfully upgraded by importing all new tables into my Access DB, comparing them with the old DB and adding new filelds into tables as required. New Tables were imported by default.

All imported tables are named 1whateverTable as they are duplicated, these I have deleted after comparison.

Then only 2 things to do to the DB:

1. Enter 0 into MovedID in tblTopic (all rows)
2. Enter 5 into Upload_avatar_size in tblConfiguration

All old ASP files were overwritten and all is fine.

Hope that helps someone else. I tried the changed log first but to no avail... This way is easier and should be less suseptable to errors. I expect there may be a few other mandatory fileds that may cause issues but the forum seems pretty stable.
