| I have a problem... the only component that my hosting company supports is the ABCUpload. I am trying to figure out how to get it to upload... I had a look at ABCUpload but as it is a client side upload active x component and as it lacks other features it is not possible to be used with the forum. Genmud, If you have it hosted on your "testing server" then I assume you could install one of the components supported by WWF on your server. I put the ASPSmartUpload on my home test server in under 2 mins. My host only supports only supports ASPSimpleUpload so I just change my settings when I move my forum to my "live" server. Dealing with the IP (static or not) is no big deal. | Yea, i have the upload components on my testing server, but you have to access the server through a port #(8080) because my ISP blocks 80, so I have a webhop account with dyndns... I love that company |
