| I got the LivePerson trial, but the actual thing starts at $100 per month! Fairly expensive, any alternatives? I did make my own a while back, but it will need a lot more work to get it working with the now more popular Netscape browsers. |

A friend of mine bought a chat program done in PHP, MySQL, and Flash for $5.00. He said it was about the best $5 he ever spent. The program is called "FlashChat". That's at Darren's $5 Script archive - http://www.tufat.com/index.php - http://www.tufat.com/index.php pipey's chat is another flash chat - freeby but I don't think it had logging. The nice thing about help apps instead of chat is the canned responses and most of them allow an email to be sent if you're off line. -------------

According to LivePerson the reason I shouldn't go for other companies is: "LivePerson is the only chat product on the market that is publicly traded and therefore the only company that abides by SEC regulations and is audited regularly" So I should go for them because they have so much money they need auditing each year? Who gives a damn! |
