MadDog or Anyone,

Do you know where I can get the "compact-and-repair add-on (Access only)". I remember when it was posted before on the mods section, but now the mod section has changed and just links to the mods section of the forum.

A compact and repair utility has been added to the admin section of version 7.02 of the forum. It also creates a backup of your access database at the same time, incase things should go wrong with the compact and repair process, you can always use an FTP program to go back to the old database.

Do a  search for "Compact and Repair by Luke Brennan"; I use his script to compact and repair

See it working http://www.freedomhosting.co.uk/nwcld/secstu/forum/admin/database/compact.asp - here

If you want to see it work please only compact and repair 280403wwForum.mdb - thanks

True, but I work on that good old fashioned value of trust! you are right of course, except that my site dosen't used those databases any longer - they are mapped to a secure folder.
