Could someone please help me to create dependent dropdown boxes in Classic ASP?

Here are the tables I'm using in SQL Server 2000:

Categories
CategoryID (Primary Key)
Category

SubCategories
SubCategoryID
SubCategory

I would like for the second dropdown to be dependent on the Categories dropdown box.

There's an example at http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/101099-1.shtml - http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/101099-1.shtml . However, some of the code is confusing. I also cannot see some of the functions that are in other files.
