This is a problem which randomly strikes.

I believe the cookies keep getting corrupted.  Sometimes I can't log in, sometimes I can't log out.  I know that this problem existed for earlier versions but I'm using the very latest release. I realise beta is obviously experimental, but is there anything I can do to make sure this doesn't happen for my users.

thanks

Alasdair

OK, an Internet Explorer problem.

But, presuming that the vast majority of web wiz forum fans use internet explorer, and recognising that nearly everyone at home in front of their computer is using windows. what can we do about it?

Do you know which versions of IE are affected, is it a service pack issue? Does it realte to a particular version of windows ( I'm using XP) I really like this forum :-( something like this will only force me to reconsider which script I use. I've also put some work into the asthetic of the messageboard, although I realise I could transfer that to a different script.

What is your advice?

thanks

Any web site that uses cookies will have issues with IE and cookies.

It seems that all versions of IE suffer from corrupted cookies and the only solution is to first delete all internet files, then delete all cookies, this forces IE to rebuild it's cookie index.
