I would like to run two monitors on my PC. Can you advise me names of different graphic cards available which you might have used. I want use two monitors like, I can open EXCEL on one monitor and my Database on the Second monitor and can work on both the monitors simultaneously. Please advise the graphic cards which can fit in PCI slots and can work on Windows 98.

Thanks.

If you only want excel and access open then you could just buy two low-end graphics cards.

But Nvidia and Ati (the two major graphics companys) both sell dual-monitor cards in PCI,PCI-E, AGP

You do not NEED to have both monitors on the same card. So you could just buy a card with for one monitor and combine it with the card/onboard graphics you already have

Thanks for your reply.

Can you give me specific model numbers which can serve my purpose, as in the market there are graphic cards which gives same display on both the monitors. Thats why I m not sure which card I should purchase.

Do you think nvidia MX 4000 can work for me or ATI 7000, or can you give me some more alternatives.

Thanks

You don't need to buy 2 graphics cards, most nowadays come with two monitor outputs so it would probably be cheaper just to buy the one.

I'm unfamiliar with the Indian computer market, but I have the GeForce 128mb LE card which wasn't too costly.
