This is a suggestion to add script which can check all post. This Checker can verific all URL (hyperlink) like web page and images. This can be very powerful to have always working hyperlink in posts.
- It can check
- It can replace
- It can remove
- It can check again unworking URL in 2 Days.
P.S. This can be very userful for Web Wiz Forums and Internet Search Engine. Meybe for Internet Search Engine can you add option to check URL when they are entered and admin or moderator can add or delete the URL by check it. Checking a url when it's entered is going to slow down posting time a lot. If you just run it peridically against all posts, you would have thousands of duplicate urls that were avatars or sig lines ubless you specifically coded around them. In any event, you're going to eat up a lot of your server bandwidth. I don't see how this would help your site with search engines. It would be of very limited use for the forum as most proken urls are reported in the thread by other users anyway. -------------
