I'm just trying to get my forum set up and when I want to enter my forum to edit it etc I am getting this error please help:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

/login_user.asp, line 171

I just wanna get moving on this! please help me thankyou

This error means that you do not have write permissions set on the server to write to the database.

Please see the install instructions under 'common errors' for a solution to this problem.

Please also see the install instructions on moving and securing your access database to prevent hackers from hacking your forum.
