Hi--can someone please help me with a really embarrassing problem? Around last Christmas I set up a private webwiz board for about a dozen users using the Jan 04 version of the program. Now I need to make some changes (due to renewed user interest) and contribute to the board myself, and I can't remember where I wrote down my own admin password. I've still got FTP access to the server, which is running NT 4.0. And I've got records of all the ordinary users' signons and passwords. Is there any way I can retrieve the admin password, or work around this situation? I really don't want to have to set the whole thing up again if it can be avoided.

2 things you can do

if you have email features enabled, you can request a new one using the password forgot feature

2.

download a ew version and copy the salt and password values for the admin account in the downloaded db, then copy them into the admin record within the old database, then your password is restored to letmein
