Hi!

I wish to activate the e-mail function in the lite version.

So I can activate the forgotten password function and Email notification in the forum.

How do I procced?

Is there missing a few files in lite lite version that I can import/copy from the �MS Access 2000 version�?

Or is it some easy editing in the common.asp file?

Or some other files?

The Lite version of web wiz fourms is intended for free hosting accounts that don't support email.

To get the mail functions to work in the 'Lite' version then you have to replace all the files that are changed from the full version to the 'Lite' version, so you may as well just download the full version.

But I like the lite version. Its easy, and not too many functions.

It would be better if you can enable the mail support function.

All of the items that are disabled in the Lite version can be disabled in the full version from the admin area.

The disabled items (apart form email) are:-

File and Image Upload (disabled by default anyway)
RTE Editor (WYSIWYG Editor)
Active Users

All these items can be disabled from the forum configuration page.

The full version also uses application variables in the background and so performs much faster.

But in the future it may be possible to activte mail support in the lite version?
