Many of you may remember the flurry of questions I began posting
concerning ASP.NET 2.0 around May of this year. That was when I began
my foray into 2.0 and simultaneously decided that the best way for me
to learn was by doing. Since that time I have been hacking away at
various difficulties and have spent well over 150 hours programming (on
the side) this application.
I am finished. I have designated this version 2.0, I put a feature lock
on, worked on ridding it of all remaining bugs, and just now I finished
eliminating the last known bug. I have registered the domain
GameSecretary.Com and now I just have to wait until Nov. 7th when
Microsoft will release SQL Server 2005 to the world and I can find a
host to run the application.
Anyways, thank you very much for all your help over the last few
months. I couldn't have done it without your help (and so many others
through the internet world who have responded to my posts).
Don't worry, I won't be out of questions though, as I have a large
number of features which I intend to add to the application for the
next release - I just figured I had to put a feature lock at some point
and finish a workable program, otherwise I would just keep programming
forever.
I'll post again when it is available and I hope you will take the time
to see the fruit of my/your labor and inform me if you are able to
exploit it or crash it in any way.
Thanks.
David.
