Hi,
I am using windows ME. I went to windows updates and saw I needed 2 critical updates - I click to install them and then it says "installation successful" etc.
But then when I restart or refresh the page, go back to windows updates, I find that I STILL need the same 2 critical updates. Tried it several times and still need those 2 updates.
The updates were: outlook express (KB837009) and Windows Media player (KB828026).
Any ideas? Thanks.

that is the only thing you should be doing with Windows ME.

I think Michael is right.. I had a client who was using it and we came
to do updates on it and nothing.. I think MS has pulled the plug and I
dont blame them... ME was C**P anyway.. Sorry for my candid answer but
