Hi

I'm new to all this & I've recently set up my forum. Initially, I was really pleased with forum, as the pages loaded well & it was easy to reconfigure, even for a novice like me!

But, I keep running into a problem with the database. I keep getting this message:

" Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
Unspecified error
...common.asp, line 261 "

I've reloaded the common.asp files and the database several times (this had no affect) and the entire forum once. After I reloaded the forum it was OK for 24 hours & then this message appeared again. The only thing I've done to the common.asp files is to change the name of the database.

Can anyone help? What am I doing wrong?

It looks like your web host is having issues with the database drivers on the server.

Contact your web host about this server issue
