does anyone know if there are any add on that can give forum members a section which they can upload there own photos too?

In the version 7 beta 4 it's possible and it's depending of the forum settings.

In the admin page you can setup the permissions to enable users to upload images.

1. Go in the admin page
2. Select Forum Administration
3. Select the Forum where you will give user the right to upload images
4. Go to Upload images in posts and select the user group
5. Go to the bottom of the form and click on "Submit Forum Details"

Now your user can upload some images.

i'm still on version 6

,toyed with the idea of upgrading but the advice was not to change over yet as its still beta release not fully tested or supported yet

. as the forum is quite busy and i cant afford cock ups i guess i'll just have to wait,lol.
