Hi there,

I've just installed the forum and when anyone tries to submit a new user profile the following error is reported:

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/web_wiz_forums_sql_server_v7[1].96/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 215

800401f3

Any ideas as I'm no expert (obviously).

you have a email settings problem make sure your settings are correct, mail server is running, also check if you requre email authentification.

Many thanks. I was told to use CDONTS when I should have used CDSYS. All sorted now.
