The private messaging system is just a forum add-on to allow users to send small text messages to each other if they don't want to discus things in public, this is why there are limits etc. on the number of messages a user can send.

It's not been built as an online email system with image and file upload as this would require allot of server resources slowing down the entire forum, not to mention a maintenance nightmare for the forum admin.

Yea I figured as much, although I've been tasked to create a "sharing folders" technique that is user friendly for a small number of employess similar to an "email system". So I'm also having to create a user management database and have came across WebWiz to see if maybe I can just use this as my "User database" and add on to it to give this ability. We already have purchased. ASPUpload running on our servers and I have this hooked up to SQL currently. But the main intention is for file sharing with one another, and security in mind. I know this can take a lot of resources if many people are uploading at once but we will make sure those resources are available if needed.

I'm wondering if I should use the user database WebWiz utilizes and add on to it to create folders with ASPUpload to allow uploading to for that user (that are unique to that user). I'm sure there will be a lot to consider and to figure out.
