Just thought Id post that a recent version of mySQL, version 4.1 (still in Alpha), now supports sub-queries.

I raise this as it was near impossible to port the WWF Access queries without using subs.

Hopefully we'll get a stable release out soon and perhaps then look into how much work is invlolved porting the code.

Cheers,
Andrew

They also need to bring out a new myODBC driver as well as the corrent one is useless, meaning that you loose alot of the functionality of ADO. Untill they do I wouldn't recommend using mySQL for use on Windows web servers, and also means that the forum can't be converted to mySQL version till they do.

It would also be nice if they made mySQL into a relational database management system (RDMS).
