old topic stuck on top

Subject: old topic stuck on top

There is an old topic that one member digged and replied to, I moved his reply to a different section of the forum as an independent topic with its own subject, etc...

However the old topic is still stuck on top of the forum, even though last reply on it is of date: 10 May 2005 at 7:00 A.M

Why is it stuck?

Make sure the topic is not a sticky topic.

Very strange, I've not seen this come up before and the post order has not changed in version 7.x for a long time.

It could be that the post has gotten stick somewhere in the db as a sticky or priority post, try reseting the post to stick and back again to see if that un-sticks it.

I haven't seen it like this before either. I tried sticking/unsticking the topic but that didn't fix it.

Ok I fixed it. I made a new reply to it then deleted that reply and that solved it.
