I'm running  the forum inside a gov. facility. All computers are running Win2000. On my computer there is no date problem but on some other test computers I see this.

The time is 30 December 1899 at 12:00am.

The date shown above is the default base date for ASp vbScript.

It suggests that for some reason a date is not being passed, could it be that no-one has posted in those forums yet?

There are ONLY 2 people that have this problem. I added them when I first installed the Forum on the server. In further tesing, these are the only ones having the date issue. I'm going to delete and add them back and see if this works. Both have poted items in the forum.

Thanks for the prompt and professional help.

It could be when you enterd them the date format on the server was different to waht it is now, and this maybe corsing the problem.

Don't have it yet. Seems the date issue shows up when a person is asked to activate via an email. Here's what I did. I added a new member, opened the email and clicked the Activate link, logged in and this is the date

But, when I manually add a new member using th Admin functions the date is correct. This is not a big issue to me I can continue adding new members and sending an email with the Forum address.

thanks for the great support
